My Children

I choose to speak blessings on my children always.

For them I pour out of my heart, words that bless and will follow them when I cannot. A blessing that will crown their heads from their Father in heaven, who will never forsake them or speak curses on them; the father they deserve. He hears me cry out for their sake:

For my babies,

You are beautiful, not only on the outside, but mostly on the inside. The Lord blesses and keeps you, the Lord makes his face shine upon you and is gracious to you, the Lord turns His face toward you and gives you peace. You are strong, kind, a young lady and gentlemen with integrity, honest, you are a giver, not a taker, and so wise beyond your years! You are strong and courageous. You have no fear for the Lord is with you wherever you go. People know and love you because you are always available to speak words of encouragement to others, you build others up rather than tear them down. God’s favor is all over you as a shield. He covers you with His feathers. You are the head and not the tail, above only and never beneath, blessed in the city and in the country, long life you will have, you are a victor and never the victim, you are a lender and never a borrower. God has a plan for your life, good and not evil, with an expected end. You have so much more life to live and a life more abundantly coming. You belong to Jesus because I taught you the right way (Proberbs 22:6) and you were chosen, predestined, hand-picked by the Almighty for a greater purpose. (Ephesians1:11)

I am thankful for the opportunity to be your momma!

Thank you for the sunshine you bring into my life.

Yo bad mamma jamma

In every persons life a certain level of acceptance arrives; acceptance of who we are, of a life that was not exactly the dream come true we awaited, acceptance of what serves us and what does not. It is very liberating to open your hand, release your grasp and behold what falls to dust, what soars away and what remains. All that remains is what has chosen to take root. All the rest, while it appears you granted liberty, the chains separated in celebration of our own independence.

The sun will surely peak on the horizon with promises of new hope. Any soul who is destined to take part in that hope will catch up, this I know. Sometimes you have just take a deep breath and release all that you’re carrying.

Peace is in the knowing what was meant for you.

I will seek the peace that is my own.
